摘要：A structural analysis of a common 3-story building has been performed by three different structural analysis software programs, SAP2000,Tower 6 and Autodesk Robot 2011. All three computer programs utilize the Finite Elements Method (FEM) for numerical analysis. Input data of a building structure were the same, as well as the element sizes chosen. Differences in the calculated results, shown in the form of internal forces and deformations, varied from negligible ones to the ones that should be looked upon with suspicion (>10%).
