摘要:Improvement of strengthening and repairing of existing structures is in focus of civil engineers for a long time. More and more, fiber reinforced polymers i.e. FRP systems are studied, developed and used as strengthening material. They are composite materials because they consists of polymer matrix and fibers. In this paper, the calculation of strengthening of reinforced concrete girders with FRP, according to EN 1992-1-1 is shown. Calculations shown in Fib bulletin 14 - Externally boded FRP reinforcement for RC structures, according to ENV 1992-1-1 are used as a base for this paper.
