摘要：For improving the activity of the Romanian highway transport,I thought it useful to present certain European and world-wide experiences in this particular area,from the study of which we can obtain valuable knowledge. We do not approve of copying these models,due to the particular conditions in our country,but there are certain aspects which can be applied in a creative way. Romania has deeply felt the consequences of a non-critical assumption of strategies elaborated in different conditions. International comparisons are useful when taking into consideration,with the necessary caution,both components – the comparisons in time and the comparisons in space. Some elements may prove helpful,as Romania has common goals with other countries,especially in what concerns European integration,and as certain processes are taking place simultaneously in Romania and other countries.
