摘要:Thegoalofthisresearchistofindouttheeffectsofvisualmediaandcreativity-assistedinquiry training learningmodelonthescienceprocessskillsofJuniorHighSchoolstudents.ThisstudywascarriedoutatAmirHamzahJuniorHighSchoolMedanin2014/2015.Thesamplewasselectedthroughclustersampling:oneexperimentalclasswastaughtusinginquiry traininglearningmodelandonecontrolclasswastaughtusingconventionallearningmodel.Datawereanalyzedusingdescriptiveandinferentialanalysis.Whilethedescriptiveanalysiswasaimedatdescribingstudents’scienceprocessskillsandcreativity;inferentialanalysis,whichwasdonethroughAnova,wascarriedouttoexaminehypotheses.Theresultsofthisstudyshowthat(1)thescienceprocessskillsofstudentswhoweretaughtusingmediavisual-assistedinquirytraininglearningmodelarebetterthanthoseofstudentswhoweretaughtusingconventionallearningmodel;(2)thescienceprocessskillsofstudentswhohavehighcreativityarebetterthanthoseofstudentswhohavelowcreativity;and(3)thereisaninteractionbetweeninquiry traininglearningmodelandconventionallearningmodelwithstudents’creativityinimprovingstudents’scienceprocessskills.
