摘要:Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam tentang penerapan program kelas Advance Placement (AP) dari tahap pertimbangan kebijakan,proses pelaksanaan,hingga berbagai hambatan yang dihadapi. Tulisan ini mengacu pada pelaksanaan program Advance Placement di Semesta Bilingual Boarding School Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif,yang dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara secara langsung dengan informan serta dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan XI AP serta pengelola program kelas AP di Semesta Bilingual Boarding School Semarang. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data,reduksi data,penyajian data,dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukan bahwa: diterapkannya program kelas AP yaitu upaya untuk mempersiapkan siswa agar mampu berkompetisi ditingkat global,untuk memaksimalkan kemampuan siswa,adanya dorongan agar Semesta Semarang mencetak siswa Indonesia ke tingkat Internasional. Pelaksanaan program AP dimulai dari tahap seleksi siswa dan guru AP,hingga evaluasi program AP. Berbagai hambatan dihadapi oleh pimpinan sekolah,siswa AP dan guru AP dapat memicu kritik dalam pelaksanaan AP bagi pihak sekolah.
其他摘要:The purpose of this study was to find out more about the application of the Advance Placement (AP) class program of policy consideration stage,the process of implementation,to various constraints. This article refers to the implementation of the Advance Placement program in Semesta Bilingual Boarding School Semarang . This study uses a qualitative method,which is carried out by observation and direct interviews with informants and documentation. The subjects were students of class X and XI AP and AP classes program manager at the School of Semesta Semarang. Test the validity of the data using triangulation data. While data analysis techniques including data collection,data reduction,data presentation,and verification. The results of research and discussion showed that: the application program AP classes is an attempt to prepare students to be able to compete at a global level,to maximize the ability of students,their incentive for students to print SMA Semesta Bilingual Boarding School Semarang to international level. Implementation of the AP program starts from the stage of selection of students and AP teachers,and evaluation of the AP program. Various obstacles faced by school leaders,students AP and AP teachers can result critical to school.
