摘要:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Batang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Dengan menggunakan simple random sampling terpilih sampel yaitu siswa kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIIIC sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu dokumentasi,tes dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan independent samples t-test,paired samples t-test,uji proporsi,dan regresi linear. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kelas yang dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika pada aspek kemampuan komunikasi matematis mencapai ketuntasan klasikal,rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang dikenai pembelajaran ekspositori,sikap siswa terhadap budaya setelah dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika lebih baik daripada sikap siswa sebelum dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika,sikap siswa terhadap budaya berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa sebesar 70,4%.
其他摘要:The purpose of this study was to determining the effectiveness of POGIL model learning by using media and base on ethnomathematics towards students’ mathematical ability. The population in this study was the students of grade VIII JHS state 3 Batang year 2013/2014. Randomly,the selected samples were the students of VIIIA and VIIIC as experimental and control class. The methods which be used to obtain the data are documentation,tests and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using one-sample t-test,independent samples t-test,paired samples t-test,proportion test,and linear regression. The result showed that the class which have studied with POGIL model learning by using media and base on ethnomathematics in mathematics communication ability aspect reach the minimum mastering criteria classically,the average of students’ mathematical communication ability by implementing POGIL model learning by using media and base on ethnomathematics better than the average of students’ mathematical communication ability by implementing expository learning,the students’ attitude to the culture after implementing POGIL model learning by using media and base on ethnomathematics better than the students’ attitude to the culture before implementing that learning,students’ attitude to the culture influent to students’ mathematical communication ability with the number 70,4%.
