摘要：This paper presents the most complete review so far of the scientific and expert works which refer to the meadows and pastures of Serbia.Besides phytocenological works there are also the data concerning production and floristic composition of (quality and weed species) the meadow and pasture communities of Serbia.In order to see the syntaxonomic status and other characteristics of pasture communities of Serbia there has been made a reference to the most significant works from nearby regions (Montenegro,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Croatia,Macedonia).
