摘要：Atrazine belongs to the group of the herbicides applied for a long time in big quantities,and in spite of the occurrence of new interesting chemical compounds,it is still hard to be replaced in maize and broomcorn crop.Atrazine is very persistent and it is quite sure that smaller or bigger quantities can remain in soil until the next crop and can potentially endanger further susceptible cultivated plants.In addition,smaller quantities can penetrate into dipper layers of soil and ground water,which makes it potential polluter of the environment.In this paper soil as the recipient of pesticides,biotic and abiotic transformation of herbicides,including also atrazine as well as persistency in soil and leaching into deeper layers are discussed very detailed.
