摘要：Purpose.Osteogenesisimpefecta,throughitscharacteristics,drasticallylimitsthepossibilities of sufferingchildrentomove and developprogrammswithphysical carácter in ordertoimprovethequality of life.Because of extreme bonefragility,there are veryfewworkmethods.Objectives.The present paper serves the purpose of creating a theoretical and methodical approach regarding the ways through which children suffering from OI can improve their quality of life through the use of aquatic environment.Methods.Thestudypresentsboth a classification and a description of themethods and instrumentsused in aquaticenvironmentforraisingthequality of lifeforchildrensuffering of OI.Theeffects and their role onthe human organism are alsoexplained.Results.Therewas a majorimprovement of quality of life of thechildrenwith OI thatfollowedourtheoretical and methodicalrecomandations in aquaticenvironment.Conclusions.The most efficient environment for improving the quality of life for children suffering from OI is the aquatic environment.With a carefully structured programme,aknowledged and applied by the suffering child in the aquatic environment,some of the following objectives can be acomplished: improving the quality of life for children suffering from OI,their psychological development,the development from an early age of a positive thinking,mandatory characteristic of children with OI in putting together a recovery programme for them.
