摘要：There are complex issues involved in the surgical management of giant occipital encephaloceles,especially in neonates and young infants.Airway management can cause technical difficulties due to location of lesion,associated abnormalities and the position to be maintained during surgery.We present perioperative challenges we faced in the management of one such case.
