摘要：Monilethrix is a rare genodermatosis. It is characterized by spindle shaped shafts of scalp hair. Patients generally present with patchy boldness due to hair fragility. Mutations have been reported in human basic hair Keratin & Desmoglein protein. Treatment modalities include topical vasodilators & retinoid.
