摘要：Extensively resistant tuberculosis (XDR TB) has exposed the dearth of new tools for TB control. Ideally,if Tuberculosis (TB) is suspected,drug sensitivity testing (DST) should be done prior to start of drugs to ensure appropriate treatment with sensitive drugs. But in our setting this is not achieved due to insufficient primary care service. Also there is lack of adequate laboratories for prompt detection of drug resistance cases. Another concern is availability,cost and optimal utilization of Anti TB drugs. In this article we are reporting four cases of relapsed tuberculosis from a single centre at Halwara,Punjab.
