摘要：Proximal focal femoral deficiency (PFFD) is a rare congenital anomaly resulting in limb shortening and disability in young.The exact cause of the disease is not known and it may present as varying grades of affection involving the proximal femur and the acetabulum.Recognition of this rare abnormality on radiographs can help manage these cases better since early institution of therapy may help in achieving adequate growth of the femur.
