摘要：Use of lasers in Operation Theatre (OT) is a challenge for both the surgeons and anesthesiologists due to its potential hazard of thermal injury to both patients and OT personnel.Adequate preparations need to be undertaken prior to surgery to reduce the risks associated with laser beams.Pre-considered contingency plans for airway fires should be in place.Strict implementation of safety precautions is key for safety of patients and staff in naval hospitals.
