标题:Empirical Studies Concerning the Relationship Between Knowledge Management and Effective Performance in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – Selected Preliminary Results
摘要:This article presents preliminary results of empirical studies concerning the relationship between knowledge management and effective performance in small and medium-sized enterprises.120 small and medium-sized enterprises from the Lower Silesia province were studied.Quantitative research was carried out.Articles published in professional literature point to a relationship between market orientation and knowledge management.Pilot studies allowed to further develop the research tool.Relevant quantitative empirical studies have shown that knowledge management with respect to market orientation is a determinant of the growth and development of contemporary small and medium-sized enterprises.Both market orientation and knowledge management place knowledge in the centre of attention.Implementing by entrepreneurs knowledge management with respect to market orientation allows them to gain competitive advantage over others and is one of effective methods of development of an organisation.
