摘要：The border areas of Poland and Germany are characterized by a rich multicultural heritage and similar natural potential,and this greatly facilitates the organization of international projects and tourist ventures.A positive example of mutual cooperation in the field of tourism is the reconstruction of the historic pilgrimage route “The Way of St.James (Camino de Santiago)” connecting objects of the sacral architecture in Polish and German border areas.The purpose of the paper was to show the importance and role of the European Saint James Way in the development of international tourism at the Polish-German border.Statistical data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) for 2015 and the results of surveys conducted in 2014–2017 were used in the paper.The results of the research show that the historical Saint James Way promotes both Polish and German culture and history.It contributes to the improvement of road infrastructure and the revitalization of sacral monuments,cultural objects and sports facilities.Funds for this purpose are obtained from the European Regional Development Fund.
其他摘要：Obszary przygraniczne Polski i Niemiec charakteryzują się bogatym dziedzictwem wielokulturowym oraz podobnym potencjałem przyrodniczym,a to znacznie ułatwia organizowanie międzynarodowych projektów i przedsięwzięć turystycznych.Pozytywnym przykładem wzajemnej współpracy w zakresie turystyki jest odtworzenie historycznego szlaku pielgrzymkowego św.Jakuba łączącego obiekty architektury sakralnej po polskiej i niemieckiej strefie przygranicznej.Celem pracy było ukazanie znaczenia i roli,jaką odgrywa europejski szlak św.Jakuba w rozwoju turystyki mię- dzynarodowej na pograniczu polsko-niemieckim.W pracy wykorzystano dane sta_tystyczne z GUS-u za 2015 rok oraz z ankiet przeprowadzonych w latach 2014–2017.Wyniki badań wskazują,że historyczny szlak Jakubowy promuje zarówno polską,jak i niemiecką kulturę i historię,przyczynia się do poprawy infrastruktury drogowej oraz rewitalizacji zabytków sakralnych,obiektów kultury i sportu.Środki na ten cel pozyskiwane są z Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego.
