摘要:More than ever,mass media needs to exercise its formative role,complementary to school education,i.e.to shape human behavior according to acknowledged human values.Social education through mass media can be a solution in the sense of an aware pedagogical action oriented to social value targets.How will this be possible and who shall be able to promote such a social education? This article invites to reflection leaving from the results of an investigation made in the March-June 2009 period,which investigated the extent to which social education mechanisms can be found in the current practices of the Romanian mass media.
