摘要：In this paper we present our experience concerning the development and utilization of LOGOMON – a Computer Based Speech Therapy System for Romanian language.Building such a system might be an overwhelming process because of its large “variables” numbers that most of them should be considered,being “human” type.Each aspect has its own importance and must be carefully treated.The utilization of LOGOMON has clearly revealed us some incontestable advantages such as: standardization,objectivity and patience.On the other hand,a CBST is not a panacea.It cannot and – we think – it could not replace the speech therapist because of unbreakable limits: lack of emotional support,need of the auditory and of the visual information to be integrated in a subjective way.Instead of all this,it could be a more and more valuable assistant in the therapy process.
