摘要：This paper is written based on the research which compares discourse structure of job vacancy advertisements in the Jakarta Post and Suara Merdeka newspaper.Advertisement as one of the discourses has the same complete structure as other discourses.By using scheme theory of Swales,it is found that there are series “move-move” forming a discourse in job vacancy advertisements in the Jakarta Post and Suara Merdeka newspaper.In addition to that,the different language usage in both newspapers shows the difference of their reader’s social groups.
