摘要：The aim of this study is to analyze how much the social studies course self efficacies of the 6th and 7th grade students predict their levels of positive attitudes towards social studies course according to the level of the class and gender variables.Furthermore,to identify whether the self efficacy level and positive attitudes towards social studies course differ according to the class or gender is another aim of the study.The study has been carried out among 439 middle school students within a district of Antalya,Alanya.The data of the study was collected through the scales;“Social Studies Self Efficacy” and “Social Studies Attitude”.Two way analysis of variance and regression analysis have been applied in the analysis of the data.As a result of the analysis of the data,it has been found out that the self efficacy and the positive attitude points of the students decrease as the class level increases,but the difference is not significant.It has been discovered that the students’ self efficacies and the positive attitudes towards the course do not show a significant difference according to gender.It has been determined that the social studies self efficacy points are a strong predictor of positive attitudes.
其他摘要：Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul 6.ve 7.sınıf öğrencilerinin Sosyal Bilgiler dersi özyeterlik inançlarının Sosyal Bilgiler dersine ilişkin olumlu tutum düzeylerini ne derecede yordadığını,sınıf düzeyi ve cinsiyet değişkenine göre incelemektir.Ayrıca Sosyal Bilgiler dersine ilişkin olumlu tutumların ve özyeterlik inançalrının sınıf ve cinsiyete göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek de araştırmanın diğer amaçlarıdır.Çalışma Antalya ili Alanya ilçesindeki 439 ortaokul öğrencisinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırma verileri “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersine Yönelik Özyeterlik” ve “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Tutum” ölçekleri ile toplanmıştır.Verilerin analizinde çift yönlü varyans analizi ve regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma verileri analizi sonucunda,öğrencilerin özyeterlik ve olumlu tutum puanlarının sınıf düzeyi arttıkça düştüğü ancak farkın anlamlı olmadığı belirlenmiştir.Kız ve erkek öğrencilerin Sosyal Bilgiler dersi özyeterlikleri ve derse yönelik olumlu tutumlarının anlamlı farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiş ve Sosyal Bilgiler dersi özyeterlik puanlarının olumlu tutumlar için güçlü bir yordayıcı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
