摘要：The purpose of the present study was to evaluate whether the temperament and character traits of pre-service teachers can serve to predict their communication skills.The study group consisted of 325 pre-service teachers between the ages of 18-32 years,who were receiving their education at the Mersin University Faculty of Education.Data collection during the study was performed by using the Communication Skills Assessment Scale and the Temperament and Character Inventory.According to the analysis results,the most significant communication skill predictors inregards to their contribution to the total variance were the “cooperation” and “self-management" character traits,and the “persistence" and “reward dependence” temperament traits.The study results indicated that temperament and character traits both play an important role in the communication skills of pre-service teachers.
其他摘要：Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının mizaç ve karakter özelliklerinin iletişim becerilerini yordayıp yordamadığını incelemektir.Araştırmanın çalışma grubu,Mersin Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören ve yaşları 18-32 arasında değişen 325 öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır.Araştırmada İletişim Becerilerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği ve Mizaç ve Karakter Envanteri kullanılarak veri toplanmıştır.Analizler sonucunda iletişim becerilerinin yordayıcılarının toplam varyansa katkıları açısından sırasıyla karakter özelliklerinden “işbirliği” ve “kendini yönetme” ile mizaç özelliklerinden “sebat etme” ve “ödül bağımlılığı” olduğu belirlenmiştir.Tüm bu bulgular öğretmen adaylarının iletişim becerilerinde mizaç ve karakter özelliklerinin önemli rol oynadığını göstermektedir.
