摘要：Araştırma ilköğretim 6.7 ve 8.sınıf öğrencilerinin okuma alışkanlıklarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırmanın örneklemini;688 alt,290 orta ve 345 üst sosyo-ekonomik düzeyden;457 altıncı sınıf,463 yedinci sınıf ve 403 sekizinci sınıf olmak üzere toplam 1323 öğrenci oluşturmuştur.Öğrencilerin 623’ü kız,700’ü erkektir.İki bölümde toplam 24 sorudan oluşan bir anket formu ile elde edilen veriler SPSS programına girilmiştir.Verilerin analizinde yüzde ve frekans dağılım tabloları yapılmış,frekans dağılımları ki-kare testi ile 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde test edilmiştir.Araştırma sonucunda ilköğretim 6,7 ve 8.sınıf öğrencilerinin boş zamanlarında en çok kitap okumaktan hoşlandıkları;büyük bir çoğunluğunun evlerinde kendilerine ait bir kitaplıklarının olduğu;en çok roman türü kitapları okumaktan hoşlandıkları;harçlıklarıyla en çok kitap satın aldıkları kitap okumalarına en çok derslerinin yoğunluğu ile sınavlara hazırlanmalarının engel olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.Ayrıca öğrencilerin okuma alışkanlıkları ile sosyo-ekonomik düzeyleri arasında yüksek düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmuştur.
其他摘要：A Study on Primary Education 6th 7th and 8th Grade Students Reading Habits according to Their Socio-economic Status – This study aimed to find out the reading habit of 6.7.and 8.grade students in primary education.The sample of the study was occurred of 688 sub,290 medium and 345 high socio-economic status;from the total of 1323 students,457 were sixth grade,463 were seventh grade and 403 were eighth grade students.623 students were girls and 700 students were boys.The datum gathered by a 24 questions survey from composed of two parts were transferred into SPSS programme.Percentage and frequency distribution tables were used for datum analyze,frequency distributions were tested by chi-square test in the 0,05 meaningfulness level.At the end of this study,it has been found out that 6,7 and 8.grade students mostly like reading in their spare time,most of them have bookcases of their own at home,they mostly like reading novels,they mostly buy books with their pocket money,they read books regularly every day,they mostly buy books for their friends as presents,they like getting books on certain days;why they read is because they believe in the favour of reading books,it has been found out that studying for the lessons and examinations prevent them from reading.Besides,it has been found out that there is a remarkable relation between their reading habit and socio-economic status.
