摘要：In this article,we came up for discussion the new way of foundation which can be implied for the source of ethics.We preferred to state this foundation as “physiognomic foundations of ethics”.We briefly mentioned the content of physiognomy which is research area deal with the relationship between appearing aspect of body and ethics/morality in world of East and West,its concepts and its development process.After than we expressed our claim weather physiognomy can be a foundation in ethics or not.At this juncture,we stated the ideas which can be asserted about physiognomy pro and con,and we mentioned this ideas critically.But ultimately,we focused on the assertion and discussion of the claim because this study has the characteristics of an introduction.
其他摘要：Bu makalede etik ya da ahlak felsefesinde,ahlakın kaynağı için gösterilebilecek yeni bir temellendirme biçimini tartışmaya açtık.Bu temellendirmeyi “etiğin fizyonomik temelleri” olarak ifade etmeyi uygun gördük.Bedenin görünen yönü ile ahlak arasındaki ilişkiye dair bir araştırma alanı olan fizyonominin Batı ve İslam dünyasındaki anlamı,kavramları ve gelişim sürecine kısaca değindik.Sonrasında fizyonominin etikte bir temellendirme olup olamayacağına dair iddiamızı dile getirdik.Bu noktada lehte ve aleyhte ileri sürülebilecek görüşlere yer verdik ve eleştirel tarzda bunları irdeledik.Fakat en nihayetinde bu çalışma bir giriş niteliğinde olduğu için daha çok bir iddianın ileri sürülmesi ve tartışmaya açılması üzerine yoğunlaştık.
