摘要：Bu araştırmanın amacı,üniversite birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin birinci dönem ile ikinci dönemde aşamalılık gösteren dersleri arasındaki ilişkilerin ve aşamalılık gösteren bu derslerin gerçekte ne derece birbirinin devamı olduğunun çok değişkenli analiz tekniği olan kanonik korelasyon analizi yoluyla irdelenmesidir.Bu araştırma,Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği’ne 2010-2011 eğitim-öğretim yılında kayıt yaptıran ve halen öğrenim gören toplam 230 birinci sınıf öğrencisi üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir.Analizler öğrencilerin birinci ve ikinci dönemde aşamalılık arz eden derslerden almış oldukları puanları üzerinde yürütülmüştür.Verilerin Çözümlenmesinde kanonik korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucunda,öğrencilerin birinci dönemde aldıkları derslerin ikinci dönemde aldıkları derslerdeki varyansın %29’unu açıkladığı tespit edilmiştir.Özellikle Yabancı Dil-İngilizce dersinin aşamalılık özelliği gösterdiği;bu nedenle birinci dönemde bu dersten başarısız olan öğrencilerin ikinci dönemde İngilizce dersinden başarısız olma eğilimi gösterdiği için ikinci dönemdeki bu dersi almaması önerilmektedir.Ancak benzer aşamalılık diğer dersler arasında saptanmamıştır.
其他摘要：The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between first grade students’ classes which demonstrate hierarchy at first semester and the second semester and to determine how these hierarchical lessons continue after each other by means of canonical correlation analysis which is a multivariate analysis.A total of 230 students who have been registered in Gazi University Gazi Faculty of Education,Department of Classroom Teaching in 2010-2011 education year (formal education and evening course) and who have been studying for a year were participated in the study.Canonical correlation analysis was performed to analyze the data.Results of the study revealed that students’grades at class that they have taken at first semester explain 29% variance of classes that have taken at the second semester.Especially Foreign Language-English Course was seen to demonstrate hierarchical feature and therefore students who failed at the first semester tend to fail at the second semesteras well.In this context,it is suggested that those who failed at the first semester shouldn’t take the next level class at the second semester.It was also found out that other classes were not hierarchical.
