摘要：Methodology of teaching foreign languages and cultures is exposed to view new technologies and methods of forming the intercultural competence on different stages at comprehensive and high educational institutions.Among the up-tothe-minute technologies of teaching foreign languages and cultures the technology “case study”,which method of realization is typed case or e-case,takes a considerable place.Results.The e-cases «Turismo ecológico en Costa Rica» and «Ecotourism in Australia» as an example of the modern aid of foreign language teaching of future travel agents are presented in the article.The content of ecases is described.The preparatory stage of students’ work with educational and informative materials of e-cases is characterized.There are given some examples of communicative situations in the core stage of working with the e-case during the professionally oriented role play.Conclusion.The e!case is the effective method of forming the professionally oriented intercultural competence.
