摘要：Globalizačné tendencie kultúry,idea multikulturalizmu,vnášanie a preberanie cudzorodých prvkov do kultúry,otvorená koketéria "západu" s kultúrou a umením "východu",eklekticizmus,ale aj paradoxnosť toho,čo sa stalo moderným osudom umenia po postmodernej dekonštrukcii (aj jeho) zmyslu a redukcia jeho zástoja na službyschopnosť v premenlivých aktualizačných rolách smerujúcich ako k indivíduu,tak spoločnosti,ma 46 rokov po vydaní knižky Dusivá kultúra opakovane privádzali k jej prečítaniu a prehodnoteniu.Témou teda je skúmanie platnosti Dubuffetovho apelu,jeho zasadenie do širších súvislostí podôb "dehumanizácie" umenia,ale tiež preskúmanie jeho odkazu práve v kontextoch vzťahu kultúra - umenie.Nové hľadanie,resp.stanovovanie periférie v umení a kultúre by popri neukončenej téme oživujúcej akademické debaty posledných rokov,ak nie desaťročí,teda téme definovania umenia (samo osebe definuje nielen svoje centrum,ale aj svoju perifériu),sa mohlo a malo prizastaviť pri otázkach inštitucionalizovania umenia;vzťahu umeleckej produkcie a jej kultúrneho kontextu,ktorý je neprenosný;"foucaltovskej" moci diskurzu ustanovenom kultúrou;neobyčajne zaujímavej afinite umenia a reklamy;estétskosti kultúry;presadzovaní tém diskontinuity a plurality ako v myslení (filozofickom,či o kultúre vôbec),tak aj v samotnej umeleckej tvorbe,teda pri témach,ktoré Dubuffet avizuje a argumentačne roztvára.Temer polstoročie po jeho výzve a jej záverečných slovách - "proto nám umělecká produkce,která kulturu nepodrobuje důkladné kritice a účinně neodhaluje její zbytečnost a nesmyslnost,není žádným útočištěm" - nám prichodí pomyslne skladať účty.Dubuffet dnes.
