摘要：Our technology has become more intimate over recent decades, shifting from big boxes in distant server centres to small screens in our hands, even wearables. This shift has brought new design constraints and triggered new behaviours. The design lead has been taken by apps (single purpose; strong user focus; lacking navigational cruft; always on). This talk looks at the implications for books, and how the web and apps can be fruitfully cross fertilized.
