摘要：A construção das chamadas “vilas de funcionários”, geralmente situadas nos arredores das respectivas empresas é um capitulo importante da história do trabalho e da urbanização brasileira. As mudanças nelas ocorridas são vivenciadas na atividade profissional dos funcionários, como sofrimento, como prazer, ou como a comunhão de ambos. O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar como os funcionários/moradores de duas vilas de funcionários e os responsáveis pela empresa vêm vivenciando a dialética prazer/sofrimento. Foi feita uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, utilizando o estudo de caso como estratégia de investigação, e a análise de conteúdo como método de investigação. Os resultados encontrados permitiram compreender melhor as alterações ocorridas nas relações pessoais e profissionais existentes nestas vilas e na empresa, e possibilitam analisar como estas influenciaram diretamente a dicotomia prazer/sofrimento, tanto na visão dos gestores da empresa quanto na dos moradores/funcionários da vila.
其他摘要：The construction of the calls "villages of employees", generally situated in the outskirts of the respective companies is one capitulates important of the history of the work and the Brazilian urbanization. The occurred changes are lived deeply in the professional activity of the employees, as suffering, as pleasure, or as the communion of both. The objective of this work is to identify as the employees/inhabitants of two villages of employees and the responsible ones for the company come living deeply the dialectic pleasure/suffering. A research of qualitative character was made, using the study of case as inquiry strategy, and the analysis of content as inquiry method. The joined results had allowed to better understand the occurred alterations in existing the personal and professional relations in these villages and the company, and make possible to analyze as these had influenced the dichotomy directly pleasure/suffering, as much in the vision of the managers of the company how much in the one of the employees/inhabitants of the village.
