The present study describes Brazilian scientific production in Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital in the years 1997-2011, based on the papers presented at the Annual Meeting of ANPAD - ENANPAD. Taking ENANPAD as a starting point, 9,027 articles were collected. Papers related to Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital were identified; issues that researchers are addressing; research methods prevailing in each study; authors of articles and academic affiliation, and the types of references used in the work. Then, this information was treated quantitatively and qualitatively using the reversibility method. The search identified 272 articles related to Knowledge Management (KM) and intellectual capital (IC), with publications concentrated in the last four years, thus recent. As for the authors, most were done in collaboration (more than 80% of total number of works) than individual research. It is believed that this mapping contributes effectively to displaying the actors and the body of knowledge, stimulating debate on the scientific production in KM and IC in Brazil.
