摘要：O deslocamento, quanto ao foco dos estudos sobre competitividade, da empresa individual para um conjunto de empresas, vem ensejando, em todo o mundo, um grande volume de estudos e pesquisas. Insere-se aí a temática das aglomerações produtivas. A literatura corrente é ampla e diversificada, resultante de diferentes vertentes de reflexão. Cada uma delas é detentora de um conjunto de premissas e proposições teóricas próprias, e representa, muitas vezes, distintas janelas de percepção e de observação. O desconhecimento das diferenciações aí existentes tem levado muitos pesquisadores a incorrerem em erros de interpretação, utilização imprecisa de conceitos e pesquisas empíricas equivocadas. O presente artigo, fruto de uma intensa investigação, procura suprir tal deficiência. Apresenta, de maneira organizada e crítica, as principais correntes de reflexões existentes na área e elabora, a partir daí, uma tipologia de análises, baseando-se nas regras do pólo morfológico da pesquisa científica. Mostra, também, a crescente identidade entre a evolução do pensamento neste campo e os interesses dos analistas organizacionais.
其他摘要：A great bulk of research has recently sprung, in the realm of competitiveness studies, out of the shift in focus from the single enterprise to an aggregate of firms. It is germane to such a context, the very analytical foundation of the conceptions of industrial agglomerations. The pertinent underlying literature is rich, wide and diversified as a result of different streams of reflexion. The latter evolving from distinct windows of observation and perception and translated through singular sets of premises and derived theoretical statements. The researcher can only ignore such distinctiveness at her (his) own peril, facing the dangers of misinterpretation of concepts or faulty lines of research. These pitfalls, in turn, can be avoided by sound analytical foundation. This paper is such an attempt and contribution, as it brings to the fore, analytical typologies relevant to the field of studies, using the tools of morphological pole of scientific research . This is also accomplished by focusing methodically and critically upon the main streams of thought, as well as on their repercussions in the realm of organizational studies. Is is also purported to show here the growing identity between the conceptual evolution in that realm and the prevailing interests of the organizational analysts.
