摘要:Existing proposals for expanding pedestrian routes in the central part of St. Petersburg are analyzed and critically assessed, based on existing regulatory documents. On the basis of quantitative indicators and a comparative analysis of the central regions of European cities, the idea of the central regions of St. Petersburg as a territory with dense buildings, small quarters with a dense network of intra-quarter communication routes is questioned. Attention is paid to the legal problems of developing the system of intra-quarter communication routes in the central part of St. Petersburg. Based on European experience, a number of possible solutions are proposed.
