  • 摘要:This article aims to analyze ways in which the use of didactic books from 1st to 3rd years of Elementary Education bring contributions to the thematic block Information Processing teaching.The motivation for this work is the amount of didactic material offered to the classes of the first three years of Elementary Education; excessive emphasis on other content blocks during this school period; and the relevanceof the Statistics, Probability and Combinatorics teaching for social use.Through a qualitative approach, bibliographical and documentary research on the contents were carried out; we analyzed evaluations and summaries about the notions of Statistics, Probability and Combinatorics in didactic books used in Mathematical Literacy in an official document of the PNLD 2016.During the study it is verified that Statistics, Probability and Combinatory teaching needs attention in the didactic books, because in theanalyzed materials, were considered insufficient activities regarding the knowledge associated with this area.The research revealed the importance of choosing didactic books collections based on quality, through a detailed analysis of their approaches, organization modes and tasks discussions.Thereby, it is necessary to analyze the didactic materials to be used, verifying their contributions to a significant mathematical learning.
