摘要:This theoretical essayaims to reflect on the phenomenon of violence, especially its manifestation within the school, identifying its characteristics, in the sense of recognizing this phenomenon in its multiple and complex determinations, emphasizing the educational work of the teacher in a humanizing perspective as a possibility of their coping and overcoming.We usedas basis for the analysis the historical and dialectical materialist method, conducting a reflection on intervention-formative research carried out by GEIPEEthc and works of authors who study this phenomenon in the school context.We know that the phenomenon of violence is present in a generalized and preponderant way in today's society and that this situation is a consequence of thealienated relations based on the capitalist metabolism.This reality leads individuals not to develop another possibility ofresolving their conflicts thanfrom violent actsand in most cases this actsareunderstanding arbitrarily and in a natural form,fact that needs to be overcome from a historical-cultural vision of human development and by an educational scientific praxis.Thus, we believe that it is possible to educate and guide the new generations to find rational and conscious wayfor their life in society, so that they do not opt for the use of violence in their relationships, because the violence makes 11Colloquium Humanarum, Presidente Prudente, v.15, n.4, p.10-21out/dez2018.DOI: 10.5747/ch.2018.v15.n4.h386socializing human relations impossible and goes againstthe process of development of human potentialities towards the free and universal human-generic subject.
