摘要：This article is up from considerations and problems arising in the course of Master of Arts, UFSM, during the project, supervised, developed with learners of high school.The study aims reflect about the possible links between the picture film and the visual arts teaching as well as their chances of integration in educational proposals for action, taken with the average level learners.This research sought investigate some propositions of cinema and its potential as part of teaching reading, based on the relevance of this motto for the different contexts in which they fit the students in the present.Thus it is crucial to problematize what is culturally consumed by the students, passing required by films which are interested in general, the film from Hollywood to promote the learners with a critical eye-reflective about the universe of images they are immersed.
