摘要：The text present some ways to analyse fashion in Vitó- ria da Conquista (BA), in the half of 20th, starting from the contribution of Bourdieu’s studies of the class fight in houte-couture, the competition between the establishment sewers (dominant), members of the “status quo”, and the aspiring (dominated) to join this camp.In spite of Vitoria da Conquisa, a city inside Bahia’state, configure a such different reality of the retract done of Bourdieu (the author take the french society to base on his analysis and researchs), it is possible to set out, to compose a parallel between the fine dressmakers of fine products and that ones who used to make a simplify sewing, a not as valued work.
