摘要：Os desastres ambientais ocorrem com frequência em todos os países devido à combinação de fatores naturais e ação antrópica.Sendo assim, surge o interesse por investigar a maneira como os Riscos Ambientais e Áreas de Risco são discutidos na educação básica, mais precisamente na disciplina de Geografia.A análise foi feita em duas escolas públicas de São João del-Rei, através de um diagnóstico sobre o conhecimento e a concepção de risco entre os alunos, investigando também como o assunto é trabalhado pelos professores de Geografia.Através das respostas apresentadas pelos sujeitos da pesquisa, em questionário semiestruturado pode-se dizer que o tema trabalhado durante aulas de geografia ocorre de maneira superficial e a mídia é a principal fonte de acesso ao assunto.
其他摘要：Environmental disasters occur frequently in all countries due to the combination of natural factors and anthropic actions. Thus arises the interest to investigate how the Environmental Risk and Risk Areas are discussed in basic education, more accurately the Geography discipline. The analysis was done in two public schools in São João del-Rei, through a diagnosis on the knowledge and the conception of risk among students, also as investigating the subject is worked by Geography teachers. Through the responses provided by the subjects of the research, semi-structured questionnaire can be said that the theme worked on during geography lessons occurs a superficial way and the media is the main source of access to it.
