摘要：A intensificação do processo de urbanização é responsável por mudanças nos padrões climáticos
locais e regionais, sendo que, a principal causa destas alterações pode ser explicada através do
fenômeno conhecido como ilha de calor urbana (ICU). Sabendo-se que áreas arborizadas periféricas
proporcionam um maior conforto térmico em relação aos centros urbanos, o presente trabalho visou
quantificar e delimitar a influência da vegetação em um sistema microclimático dentro do
município de Belo Horizonte. Para isso, registrou-se a diferença de temperatura e umidade em
pontos específicos, sob a influência de diferentes fatores locais, definindo e quantificando até que
ponto a vegetação é capaz de amenizar os efeitos causados pelas ICUs.
其他摘要：The intensification of the urbanization process is responsible for changes in local and regional climate patterns, and the main cause of these changes can be explained by the phenomenon known as the urban heat island (UHI). Knowing that outlying wooded areas provide greater thermal comfort in relation to urban centers, the present work was aimed to define and quantify the influence of the vegetation on a microclimatic system within the city of Belo Horizonte. For this, the differences in temperature and humidity at specific points under the influence of different local factors were registered, to define and quantify the extent to which vegetation is able to reduce the effects caused by the UHIs.
