摘要：O estudo em tela visa contribuir, ainda que de forma parcelar e modesta, com o campo da História da Alimentação, evidenciando a percepção social da população amazônica de São Felipe d’Oeste/RO acerca da Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional - SAN.O estudo foi desenvolvido no Núcleo de Extensão em Desenvolvimento Territorial do Território Rural de Identidade Rio Machado (NEDET Rio Machado), sediado no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia (IFRO).Seu objetivo principal foi analisar a percepção de segurança alimentar e nutricional de mulheres residentes em São Felipe d’Oeste, município amazônico integrante daquele Território.Buscou-se ainda identificar onde a insegurança alimentar e nutricional tem maior incidência: se na zona urbana ou rural, bem como discutir os fatores que interagem para sua formação e mitigação.A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em abordagem qualitativa, mediante observação de tipo participante, em campo, e aplicação da Escala Brasileira de Insegurança Alimentar e Nutricional - EBIA.A amostra compreendeu 2% da população total do referido município, da qual metade foi constituída de mulheres residentes na Zona Rural e a outra metade de mulheres residentes na Zona Urbana.As análises tomaram por base Menezes e Carneiro (1997), Bourdieu (2002), Butler (2017), Kepple e Segall-Corrêa (2011), dentre outros.Os resultados apontam que a insegurança alimentar e nutricional teve incidência maior na zona urbana do que na zona rural, contribuindo para a melhor situação da segunda a forte ocupação das mulheres na agricultura familiar de base agroecológica.
其他摘要：The study on-screen aims to contribute, albeit in a piecemeal and modest way, to the field of Food History, highlighting the social perception of the Amazonian population of São Felipe d’Oeste/RO about Food and Nutrition Security –SAN. The study was developed at the Extension Center for Territorial Development of the Rural Territory of Identity Rio Machado (NEDET Rio Machado), based at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO). Its main objective was to analyze the perception of food and nutritional security of women residing in São Felipe d’Oeste, an Amazonian municipality that is part of that Territory. It also sought to identify where food and nutritional insecurity has a greater incidence: whether in urban or rural areas, as well as to discuss the factors that interact for their formation and mitigation. The research was developed in a qualitative approach, through observation of participant type, in the field, and application of the Brazilian Scale of Food and Nutritional Insecurity – EBIA. The sample comprised 2% of the total population of the municipality mentioned above, of which half were women residing in the Rural Zone, and the other half were women residing in the Urban Zone. The analyzes were based on Menezes and Carneiro (1997), Bourdieu (2002), Butler (2017), Kepple and Segall-Corrêa (2011), among others. The results show that food and nutritional insecurity had a higher incidence in the urban area than i the rural area, contributing to the better situation of the second, the strong occupation of women in family farming based on agroecology.
