摘要：This text considers what normally occurs in a game of representation: it triggers multiple meanings around the object-book. In some way it echoes the modes of production and reception. The aim of this article is to study the book through its materiality. It can be an object of attraction and/or of affective meaning, as well as a way in which the readers can relate to it. Through the analysis of the depositions that some authors have written on their relation to the book or to fragments of several works we can thematize the book as a concrete object, beyond the content it carries. We know that there is a search to understand how diverse meanings on the object-book can be obtained. This work will take the proposals of Chartier (1990, 1994, 1996a, 1996b, 1999) as the theoretical base for an approach to Cultural History.
