摘要：De kulturhistoriske museenes samfunnsoppdrag består i å skape kollektiv
erindring og kontinuitet med fortiden, men de skal også bidra til kritisk
refleksjon. Med utgangspunkt i friluftsmuseene diskuterer denne artikkelen
hvilken type erindring, og hvilken type fellesskap, som er relevant i en tid
preget av en dobbel revolusjon – den flerkulturelle og den elektroniske – som
gjør tidligere former for nasjonsbygging utilstrekkelige.
其他摘要：The societal task of museums of cultural history consists in creating collective
memories and a continuity with the past, but they should also contribute to
critical reflection. Taking open-air museums as a starting point, this article
discusses what kind of memory, and what kind of community, are relevant at a
time characterised by a double revolution – the multicultural and the electronic
– which render earlier forms of nation-building inadequate.
