摘要:Since technology takes part in the world of production and consumption, scientist and especially geographers have questioned the relationship between new technologies and spacial distribution, how the city is organised, how the citizens place themselves, and so on. Not so long ago, these question marks were solved basing facts on the paradigm of cau¬ sality from a neopositivist approach. In this sense, any technological change would be an element either of explanation or else dependent on the various modifications in the spacial distribution itself. At present, we are living a process oftheorical changes, starting to glimpse a methodogi-cal and conceptual replacement in which dialectics would be the new paradigm inside a spacial and social structuralism. Communication will explain this change of paradigm and, consequently, the new theorical enviroment in which we are nowadays involved in. Theorical redefinition is essential for the understanding of old concepts which will help to redefine the new ones, especially in what new enviroments and renewed territorial networks is concerned.
