摘要：Implant Dentistry is the dental specialty that seeks to implant in the mandible or maxilla and, alloplastic materials designed to withstand single, partial and full dentures, involving a long duration of treatment, high costs and the possibility of a series of local or systemic complications during and after the procedure, associated with a high customer expectation as to the outcome.This paper aims at reviewing the literature related to Implant failure factors and highlight their identification in preventing judicial labors.The identification of failure factors in Implantology and knowledge of related legislation are important for the management to the patient and consequently in preventing lawsuits.
