摘要：The forensic dentistry expertise aims to clarify technical dental facts, being requested by the judiciary and is standardized by the civil procedural rules.The objective of this study was to highlight the guidelines of the new legislation, comparing the 1973 and 2015 Codes, aiming to improve the dentist expert practice.Only after reports production consonants to new procedural rules can we know the behavior of judges and courts about the changes, thus, form an academic understanding based on jurisprudence and law and legal doctrine.However, it was verify that there was a delay of several deadlines, allowing more time for the execution of important procedural steps, as well as punitive interregnum by false information provided by the expert, asserting the commitment to the development of technical and veracity of the expert report.
