摘要：Eleanor H. Copeland, the very first Editor-in-Chief of Policy Perspectives, wrote in her
Editor’s Note for Volume 1 that “[t]he purpose of this journal is to provide an opportunity for
individuals to offer their perspectives on public policy and its management around the world.”
Our milestone 25th volume continues to fulfill this purpose by curating multiple voices from
the Trachtenberg community. The selected articles bring light to unique domestic and foreign
policy issues alike, and provide thought-provoking policy alternatives worthy of further
examination. Additionally, the interviews with distinguished alumni in this volume offer
seasoned administrative insight while displaying the versatility and impact of a Trachtenberg
degree. And while we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the print journal, we also mark another
important milestone in our organization: the first anniversary of our associated podcast, GW
Wonkcast, which engages the Trachtenberg community and beyond in important policy
conversations in a new and exciting way.
