摘要：Antithetical reconstructions on the youth condition emerge from two recent texts, both published in 2019: La società signorile di massa by Luca Ricolfi (published by La nave di Teseo) and La società del Quinto Stato by Maurizio Ferrera (published by Laterza). What makes them interesting is that, although the both authors analyse in the European and international context, the young people they talk about seem to come from different realities.In this critical note we retrace the most interesting themes of both volumes, we highlight perplexities and we wonder how much the adult world is able to see in the youthful condition an opportunity and not just a problem.
