摘要:{Abstract } Following a theoretical review where it was identified the relevance of the advancement of knowledge in the analytical fields of services science and innovation, the paper presents results of an exploratory study in Brazil, from the operationalization of a surveying of the interests and perceptions of the priorities of the emerging scientific field of Science Services. Adopting as a parameter the main research conducted in the U.S. on the subject of research priorities propositions in service science, by the Center for Services Leadership - {CSL} of the University of Arizona, where it was defined ten priority areas for research in Service Science (Ostrom et al. 2010), a survey was conducted anonymously with members of the nascent Brazilian community of Services Science and the authors of the 1st Symposium, members of academia and the private sector (103 respondents). The results show great interest in practical matters to the business world as the creation of business models to exploit new technologies, services, tools and metrics of measurement for value creation, formalization of activities for R & D routines and innovation management, and quality improvement methods in health and education. Interest in the issue of sustainability and social inclusion was manifested by a greater emphasis on topics for improving and universal welfare. The results of this study indicate the scientific community perceptions about the main public and business investment strategies in the conduction of the future lines of research in Brazil.
