摘要:Identificar fatores relacionados ao desempenho dos estudantes do Ensino Superior, pode contribuir no direcionamento e replanejamento de políticas educacionais nesse nível de ensino. Dessa forma, o presente estudo caracteriza-se como uma revisão integrativa contendo a seguinte pergunta norteadora: Quais fatores estão associados ao desempenho dos estudantes no “Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes” (ENADE/BRASIL), bem como as características dos estudos nessa temática? Para tanto, optou-se pela inclusão de teses, dissertações, artigos completos publicados em revistas ou em anais de eventos internacionais nos últimos 5 (cinco) anos (2013 – 2018). Foram seguidos os seguintes processos metodológicos, respectivamente: i) análise por título, ii) verificação do ano de publicação, iii) leitura do resumo para verificar a relevância e coesão com a temática estudada e iv) leitura do texto na íntegra para seleção dos trabalhos a ser analisados. A organização dos achados foi dividida em dois tópicos: i) dissertações e teses e ii) artigos científicos. Os resultados apontam que os fatores associados ao desempenho dos estudantes no ENADE são diversos e assumem características gerais e específicas. Entre os quais, se destacam como associados a um maior desempenho: maior renda familiar, melhor infraestrutura das IES, maior titulação do corpo docente e alunos provenientes de IES pública. Considerando as evidências aqui mostradas, sugerem-se novas investigações acerca dos fatores associados ao desempenho acadêmico/escolar de forma teórica e empírica utilizando como cenário não só o Ensino Superior, mas em outros níveis e modalidades educacionais, tanto no Brasil, quanto em outros países. FACTORS ASSOCIATED TO THE STUDENT PERFORMANCE IN THE NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT (ENADE): AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW ABSTRACT Identify factors related to the students’ performance from Higher Education can contribute to directing and replanning educational policies of this teaching level. In this sense, the present study is an integrative review containing the next guiding question: Which factors are associated to the student performance in the “National Assessment of Student Achievement”, (ENADE/BRASIL), as well as the characteristics of studies in this thematic? Therefore, we opted for the inclusion of theses, dissertations, completed papers published in journals or in annals of international events in the last 5 (five) years (2013-2018). We follow the next methodological processes, respectively: I) analysis by title, II) verification of the year of publication, III) reading of the abstract to verify the relevance and relation with the object of study and IV) reading of the full text to select the papers to be analyzed. The organization of the texts was divided in two topics: I) dissertations and theses and II) scientific papers. The results indicate that the factors associated to the student achievement in the ENADE are diverse and assume general and specific characteristics. Among them, they stand out as being associated to a higher achievement: higher family income, better infrastructure of the Higher Education Institution (IES), higher degree of the teachers and students from public IES. Considering the evidences showed here, it is suggested new theoretical and empirical investigations about the factors associated to the academic achievement, using as scenery not only the Higher Education, but also other levels and education modalities, both in Brazil and in other countries.
