摘要：[ESPAÑOL]La falta de integridad en las instituciones educativas y de investigación es un tema que frecuentemente se soslaya y las faltas quedan, en un gran número de ocasiones, sólo a nivel de anécdotas. Por tal motivo, es conveniente reflexionar sobre la deshonestidad de los estudiantes, profesores e investigadores en relación con sus estudios y con la práctica docente y de investigación. En los estudiantes podemos señalar: presentar trabajos por otro estudiante, comprar trabajos o calificaciones, plagiar o copiar.... Los profesores e investigadores son deshonestos cuando ejercen la docencia sin estar preparados para ello, trabajan bajo la influencia de alguna droga, venden libros y otros objetos a los estudiantes, aceptan obsequios, acosan sexualmente a los alumnos, falsifican e inventan datos, cometen errores comprobables en sus investigaciones, son parciales, faltan el respeto a los participantes y sujetos de estudio, colegas y a la institución, excluyen a un autor, plagian o incluyen en la autoría a quien no participó en la investigación. Por lo anterior, es necesaria la revisión y adopción de una moral que nos diga qué hacer, la cual quedaría plasmada en códigos deontológicos. Todo ello afecta de manera especial a documentalistas y bibliotecarios en la medida en que ellos son los garantes y administradores del conocimiento.[ENGLISH]The lack of integrity in educational and research institutions is an issue that often neglects and failures are , in many cases only anecdotal level . Therefore , it is appropriate to reflect on the dishonesty of students , teachers and researchers in relation to their studies and the teaching and research practice. For students we note : submit papers by another student , work or buy ratings , plagiarize or copy .... Teachers and researchers are dishonest when engaged in teaching without being prepared for it, working under the influence of drugs, sell books and other students , online gifts, sexually harass students , falsify and invent data , verifiable commit errors in their research , are partial , they disrespect the participants and study subjects , colleagues and the institution , exclude an author, plagiarize or included in the authorship who did not participate in the investigation. Therefore, the review and adoption of a moral to tell us what to do , which would be reflected in codes of conduct is necessary. All this applies especially to archivists and librarians to the extent that they are the guarantors and knowledge managers .
