摘要：Os Bombeiros Militares estão sujeitos a situações de tensão e resposta rápida, por gravidade da profissão e por objeto laboral. O trabalho dos bombeiros está vinculado aos países da população, explorado pela mídia através da veiculação de desastres, tanto naturais como provocadas pelo homem. As situações de emergência e desastres remetem uma situação que extrapola a condição de estabilidade emocional tão discutida entre os profissionais em segurança pública. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar a prevalência de estresse em um grupo de bombeiros militares no município de Ponta Porã, no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, Brasil. Questionários sociodemográficos para caracterização da população estudada e Inventário de Sintomas de Estressepara Adultos de Lipp, que investiga a prevalência de estresse e suas fases. No total, 33 bombardeiros envolvidos em estudo, sendo 3 deles na fase de resistência, em que o indivíduo entra em contato com o fator estressante, mas ainda permanece em alguma atitude de enfrentamento, sugerindo ainda um comportamento de superação ao contato com o estressor. Entretanto, apesar do serviço de emergência do corpo de bombeiros ser um requisito para ocorrência de estresse e implicar uma percepção de QV, os bombeiros participantes da pesquisa demonstram, em sua grande maioria, uma alteração para sobrecarga e peculiaridades inerentes ao serviço.
其他摘要：Military firefighters are subject to situations of tension and rapid response, due to the seriousness of the profession and by work object. The work of firefighters is linked to the countries of the population, exploited by the media through the broadcast of disasters, both natural and man-made. Emergency and disaster situations refer to a situation that goes beyond the condition of emotional stability so discussed among public security professionals. This research aimed to investigate the prevalence of stress in a group of military firefighters in the municipality of Ponta Porã, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Sociodemographic questionnaires were used to characterize the studied population and Lipp's Stress Symptoms Inventory for Adults, which investigates the prevalence of stress and its phases. In total, 33 bombers involved in the study, 3 of which were identified in the resistance phase, in which the individual comes into contact with the stressor, but still remains in some coping attitude, still suggesting a behavior to overcome the stressor object contact. However, despite the fact that the fire department's emergency service is a requirement for the occurrence of stress and implies the perception of QOL, the firefighters participating in the research showed, in the great majority, a change to overload and peculiarities inherent to the service.
