摘要：Objetivo: analisar evidências científicas disponíveis na literatura de saúde, em relação à sobrecarga de cuidadores familiares idosos na quarta idade. Método: estudo descritivo-discursivo de revisão integrativa realizada em janeiro e fevereiro de 2020, baseada em dados: Biblioteca Nacional de Medicina, Literatura América Latina e Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e Biblioteca on-line da Biblioteca Eletrônica Científica: Resultados: cuidadores são em sua maioria familiares, mulheres, filhas, moradores da mesma Instituição de Longa Permanência e responsáveis pelo cuidado diário, e com capacidades limitadas. Mostrasse que dentro dos fatores que afetam negativamente a qualidade de vida dos cuidadores, incluem o grau de dependência dos idosos e o estresse sobre o cuidador. Conclusão: O tema da qualidade de vida dos cuidadores familiares de idosos ainda é pouco explorado na literatura, especialmente no que diz respeito à quarta idade. Sugere-se que novos estudos sejam conduzidos com uma abordagem mais geral, independente da doença do idoso, uma vez que a necessidade de cuidadores é indispensável para idosos com deficiência física e/ou cognitiva, e quanto maior o número de tarefas no cuidado do idoso, maior será a sobrecarga do cuidador e, consequentemente, afetará sua qualidade de vida.
其他摘要：Objective: to analyze scientific evidence available in the health literature, in relation to the burden of elderly family caregivers in the elderly. Method: descriptive-discursive study of an integrative review conducted in January and February 2020, based on data: National Library of Medicine, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences and on-line library of the Scientific Electronic Library. Results: caregivers are mostly family members, women, daughters, residents of the same Long-Term Institution and responsible for daily care, and with limited capacities. Show that among the factors that negatively affect the quality of life of caregivers, include the degree of dependence of the elderly and the stress on the caregiver. Conclusion: the theme of quality of life for elderly family caregivers is still little explored in the literature, especially with regard to the elderly. It is suggested that further studies be conducted with a more general approach, regardless of the elderly's disease, since the need for caregivers is indispensable for the elderly with physical and / or cognitive disabilities, and the greater the number of tasks in caring for the elderly , the greater the burden on the caregiver and, consequently, will affect their quality of life.
